In an unprecedented culinary milestone, the director of Ceturgh Peru, Katty Vegas, and the renowned chef instructor José Delfino, have raised the name of Piura and Peruvian gastronomy at the National Restaurant Association Show, the largest gastronomic fair in USA. Both were part of the prestigious Peruvian Team of P.A.CHA.A (Peruvian-American Chef Association), bringing with them the emblematic recipes of Seco de Cabrito and Algarrobina Truffles with Pisco.

During the event, Katty Vegas and José Delfino captivated attendees with their culinary talent, preparing more than 250 live tastings of these exquisite dishes. The authenticity of the flavors and the meticulous presentation impressed the most demanding palates, receiving praise and applause from the international audience. In addition, they brought the famous Matalaché pisco creams, the various Karenna chocolates and Nariwalac crafts.

The National Restaurant Association Show, which took place in Chicago from May 20 to 23, brought together the most select of the world's gastronomic industry. Katty Vegas and José Delfino stood out among the exhibitors, passionately promoting Piurana and Peruvian gastronomy, and showing the world the richness of our flavors and traditions.

In addition, during the fair, the director of Ceturgh Peru, Katty Vegas, and the chef instructor José Delfino, received a special recognition from PromPerú, delivered by the Director of the Peru commission in New York, Mr. Bernardo Muñoz Angosto. This recognition highlighted his outstanding work in the promotion and representation of Piurana and Peruvian gastronomy in such a prestigious international event.
